About the Role
The role involves building and optimizing Salesforce applications, ensuring data integrity, and supporting platform enhancements across departments.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy Salesforce solutions using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning components
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define system requirements and functional specifications
- Maintain and improve existing Salesforce configurations and custom code
- Integrate Salesforce with external systems using REST and SOAP APIs
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in production environments
- Write technical documentation for developed solutions and system processes
- Support user acceptance testing and coordinate bug resolution
- Implement security best practices across Salesforce environments
- Monitor system performance and recommend optimizations
- Participate in agile development cycles and sprint planning sessions
- Manage version control using Git and related development tools
- Ensure compliance with data governance and privacy standards
- Assist in the migration of legacy data into Salesforce platforms
- Provide post-deployment support and system training as needed
- Stay current with Salesforce updates and new feature releases
Nice to Have
- Experience with Salesforce CPQ or Billing platforms
- Familiarity with Salesforce Health Cloud or Energy Cloud
- Background in utility or energy-sector software systems
