EY is seeking a Salesforce Senior Developer to join our team. In this role, you will design, configure, test, and deploy Salesforce solutions for a diverse client base, leveraging EY’s global scale and inclusive culture to grow professionally.
What You'll Do
- Meet with clients to determine business, functional, and technical requirements, participating in application design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
- Perform configuration and customization of the Salesforce.com platform.
- Participate in developing and executing testing, training, and documentation.
- Engage in the sales cycle as needed, including solution definition, pre-sales, estimating, and project planning.
- Produce tangible deliverables such as requirements specifications, design deliverables, status reports, and project plans.
- Proactively engage in continuous improvement efforts for application design, support, and practice development.
- Provide technical assistance and end-user troubleshooting for bug fixes, enhancements, and 'how-to' support.
- Perform regular reviews on implementations by less experienced developers, offering feedback and suggestions.
- Mentor junior and mid-level developers and delegate tasks effectively.
- Set up development environments and guide junior team members.
- Communicate independently with client technical teams and business owners during design and implementation.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years total professional experience.
- 3+ years of relevant experience.
- 3+ years of experience working on Salesforce platforms.
- At least the Salesforce Platform Developer I certification.
- Direct experience working on CRM projects for middle-market and enterprise-sized companies.
- Working knowledge of complex business systems integration and object-oriented design patterns.
- Software engineering skills with the Force.com Platform (Apex, LWC, SOQL, Unit Testing).
- Experience in core web technologies including HTML5, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Demonstrated experience with relational databases, data modelling, and ETL tools.
- Experience with web services (REST & SOAP, JSON & XML).
- Experience with Agile development methodologies such as SCRUM.
- Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
