Bask Health is hiring a Sales Engineer to serve as the technical heartbeat of our customer acquisition process. You will partner with Account Executives pre-sale to win customers by making complex technology feel simple, compelling, and real. Your work—from tailored demos to technical scoping—directly accelerates deal velocity and ensures a seamless handoff to Customer Success.
What You'll Do
- Build and deliver compelling technical demos and Proof-of-Concepts tailored to each prospect's specific business and pain points.
- Field hard technical questions on integrations, APIs, security, scalability, and data flow, addressing objections head-on.
- Scope and plan pre-onboarding requirements for prospective enterprise customers, including data migrations and custom integrations.
- Work hand-in-hand with Account Executives throughout the sales cycle to accelerate deal velocity.
- Serve as the primary technical liaison between prospective customers and our engineering team.
- Develop and improve internal sales tooling, documentation, and technical collateral.
- Specialize in key product areas to become the go-to technical expert within the team.
- Assist Customer Success Managers in scoping enterprise onboarding post-sale.
What We're Looking For
- Understanding of modern web architecture, frontend frameworks like Next.js and React, cloud technologies, serverless computing, and DNS.
- Ability to comprehend how metered usage and subscriptions work in a complex SaaS product.
- Skill in translating complex technical concepts into clear, persuasive narratives for non-technical audiences.
- A mindset that enjoys engineering solutions to resolve root causes of recurring problems.
- Experience with APIs, integrations, and the ability to comfortably scope custom technical requirements.
- Exceptional communication skills—in demos, in writing, and under pressure.
- An inquisitive mind and a lead-by-example approach.
- Comfort working with a fully remote, globally distributed team.
- A passion for delivering a customer experience second to none.
Nice to Have
- Experience with SaaS and a good understanding of telehealth and e-commerce.
- Familiarity with monorepos and/or custom, complex CI/CD pipelines.
- Prior Sales Engineering or Solutions Engineering experience.
