The Role: We are recruiting an experienced Sales Engineer - Data to champion technical customer success during pre-sales evaluations and initial deployments. This highly technical, customer-facing position demands profound modern data stack expertise, exceptional presentation capabilities, and passion for solving complex data challenges within a sales framework. Responsibilities: - Execute technical discovery and qualification processes - Serve as primary technical account contact during sales cycles - Develop custom scripts, integrations, and demonstrations - Troubleshoot and resolve technical evaluation challenges - Provide product feedback based on sales insights - Conduct technical workshops and offer data best practice guidance Must have: - 4+ years technical Sales Engineering experience - Comprehensive modern data stack understanding - Data Warehouses/Lakes expertise - Data Transformation/Modeling knowledge - Workflow Orchestration experience - Product pre-sale demonstration capabilities Preferred Skills: - Pre-Sales Solutions Architect background - Data Governance and Observability familiarity - Exceptional communication skills - Technical concept articulation across audience types
