Sartorius is looking for a Sales Development Specialist for Data Analytics to lead sales initiatives for our data solutions within the biopharmaceutical industry. You will be instrumental in growing our market presence and delivering value to clients through advanced analytics.
What You'll Do
- Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities for data analytics solutions within your assigned territory and key accounts.
- Manage a portfolio of existing clients to ensure high satisfaction and identify expansion opportunities.
- Conduct client needs assessments and propose tailored data solutions to meet their objectives.
- Collaborate with technical teams to scope projects and develop winning proposals.
- Achieve and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.
- Stay current on industry trends, competitor solutions, and emerging technologies.
- Represent Sartorius Data Analytics at industry events, conferences, and client meetings.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor’s degree in a Life Science/Biotechnology discipline or a related field, OR 5+ years of relevant practical experience.
- Demonstrated ability and proven competency to work effectively as an Account Manager within the biopharmaceutical industry.
- A strong understanding of data analytics platforms, especially Multivariate data analysis and the Umetrics products portfolio.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Self-starter with a results-driven mindset and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to travel up to 40% (adjusted based on sales region).
