About the Role
The Sales Development Representative will proactively reach out to prospective clients, initiate conversations, and qualify leads to support the sales pipeline. The individual will use a mix of phone, email, and social platforms to connect with decision-makers and set up meetings for the account executive team.
Responsibilities
- Initiate contact with potential clients through phone calls and emails
- Research target accounts to understand business needs and decision-makers
- Qualify leads based on predefined criteria for sales readiness
- Maintain accurate records of outreach and interactions in CRM
- Collaborate with account executives to align on prospecting strategy
- Follow up with prospects to advance sales conversations
- Attend team meetings to review performance and share insights
- Meet or exceed monthly lead generation targets
- Use social media platforms to engage with prospects
- Adhere to established sales processes and best practices
- Respond to inbound inquiries in a timely manner
- Participate in product and sales training sessions
- Track key performance metrics daily
- Identify new market opportunities through outreach efforts
- Support the sales team with data and insights from prospect interactions
