SPAR Handels AG is looking for a Sales Associate (Verkäufer*in mit Verantwortung) to join our SPAR Supermarkt in Herisau. In this role, you will be the key person responsible for the store and team when the management is absent, focused on delivering a seamless customer experience.

What You'll Do

Take responsibility for the supermarket and the team in the absence of the store manager and their deputy.
Ensure a smooth checkout process and a consistently positive customer experience.
Maintain an appealing product presentation as well as a clean and inviting sales area.

What We're Looking For

A completed apprenticeship in retail (EFZ).
High service orientation and enjoyment in providing competent, friendly customer advice.
Ability to remain composed and structured even in hectic situations.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including Saturdays.

Nice to Have

Apprenticeship ideally completed in the food retail sector.
Initial experience in staff leadership or a strong motivation to take on responsibility.
Knowledge of SAP is advantageous.
