Helius is looking for a Rust Engineer to build and scale the backend systems powering our developer platform on Solana. You will work on distributed, high-performance infrastructure supporting millions of blockchain transactions.

What You'll Do

Build and maintain backend services in Rust, focusing on scalability and performance.
Integrate new features into existing infrastructure with support from senior engineers.
Debug, profile, and tune performance in high-scale production environments.
Collaborate cross-functionally with product and frontend teams to integrate features and unblock development.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to team technical discussions.
Establish and maintain monitoring, alerting, and security best practices for the systems you own.
Learn and grow your Rust expertise through hands-on experience and mentorship.

What We're Looking For

Proficiency in Rust.
2+ years building or maintaining production systems.
Strong understanding of distributed systems and database fundamentals.
Ability to work autonomously, move fast, and deliver high-quality code.
Strong communication and collaboration skills in a fast-paced startup environment.

Nice to Have

Web3 or blockchain experience or familiarity with Solana.

Technical Stack
