Wipro is hiring a Rust Engineer to build innovative solutions that address clients’ complex digital transformation needs, with a focus on stream processing and digital advertising technology. This role is part of our mission to reinvent and become an end-to-end digital transformation partner.
What You'll Do
- Design and implement robust stream processing solutions using frameworks like Apache Flink
- Develop and optimize services within the digital advertising technology domain
- Build and maintain data pipelines using data lake technologies, particularly Apache Iceberg
- Architect resilient distributed systems using principles like circuit breakers and retries
- Conduct performance tuning and resource management in distributed computing environments
- Implement distributed tracing following W3C Trace Context standards
What We're Looking For
- Expert-level knowledge of a stream processing framework, preferably Apache Flink
- Proven experience in the digital advertising technology domain
- Hands-on experience with data lake technologies, particularly Apache Iceberg
- For Rust developers: Experience with the Axum web framework and the Serde library
- Knowledge of distributed systems principles and resilience patterns
- Experience with performance tuning and resource management in a distributed computing environment (e.g., YARN)
- Familiarity with W3C Trace Context for distributed tracing
Nice to Have
- Experience with MVEL is a plus

- Compensation: $60,000 to $135,000
