Parsons is hiring a Roadway Team Leader to lead a team executing major transportation infrastructure projects across the Midwest. As part of our Critical Infrastructure team, you will drive the design, quality, and delivery of roadway and highway projects while fostering team growth.
What You'll Do
- Produce project deliverables including transportation design, plans, specifications, and estimates.
- Drive quality management procedures across the team.
- Ensure Parsons’ safety protocols are consistently implemented.
- Mentor and lead junior staff and engineers on roadway and highway projects.
- Strive to obtain maximum INDOT performance scores for scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
- Develop staffing plans for projects and pursuits, identifying needs for new hires.
- Support business development efforts through technical expertise and business acumen.
- Identify and lead recruiting efforts for strategic candidates to join the team.
- Identify and coordinate training needs for your staff.
- Develop career development plans with all direct reports.
- Develop workforce forecasting to anticipate staffing peaks and valleys.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- 10+ years of related work experience.
- Professional Engineer registration may be required.
- Potential to perform in a lead capacity, excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Familiarity with industry practices and regulations.
- Thorough knowledge of current technology and the ability to select appropriate engineering software.
