Responsibilities
- Design and implement character rigging systems for animated content
- Collaborate with animators to ensure rigs support performance needs
- Optimize rig functionality for efficiency and ease of use
- Troubleshoot technical issues in rig setups
- Maintain consistency across character rigs in a production pipeline
- Adapt rigs to meet evolving project requirements
- Document rigging processes and technical specifications
- Integrate facial rigs for expressive character animation
- Support deformation and skinning workflows
- Ensure rigs are compatible with animation software standards
- Participate in technical reviews and feedback sessions
- Refine control layouts for intuitive animator interaction
- Develop reusable rigging templates for production efficiency
- Work within established production timelines
- Collaborate with modeling and animation departments
- Apply best practices in rigging and deformation techniques
- Support rig updates during production cycles
- Ensure rigs meet technical and artistic benchmarks
- Contribute to pipeline improvements related to rigging
