Guidant Financial is hiring a Retirement Plan Operations Specialist to begin a career in retirement plan administration. You will start by learning the full process of administering 401(k) plans and quickly grow from document review to handling basic plan administration.
What You'll Do
- Work with clients to obtain necessary information for annual 401(k) plan reporting.
- Review client-submitted documents for completeness and accuracy.
- Reconcile plans involving rollovers and plan stock using Excel and administration software.
- Utilize administration software to complete 401(k) testing and reporting.
- Make outgoing reminder calls and send emails to clients during the annual reporting process.
- Prepare required government filings, including IRS Form 5500, using filing software.
- Educate clients on 401(k) plan administration and plan documents.
- Share knowledge and explain complex topics in simple terms.
- Train on core concepts for a Retirement Plan Administrator I role.

Benefits & Compensation
- Annual salary of $49,000 ($23.55 per hour).
