What You'll Do
- Conduct in-depth research into distributed systems, cryptographic methods, and blockchain-based applications
- Evaluate new ideas through feasibility analysis and build proof-of-concept implementations
- Develop technical specifications and contribute to academic-level publications
- Collaborate with research and engineering teams to bridge theoretical concepts with practical implementation
- Communicate complex technical ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Work closely with product and business teams to align innovation with real-world developer and user needs
What We're Looking For
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field—Ph.D. preferred, or Master’s with relevant experience
- 1–2 years of research or development experience in distributed systems, cryptography, or security
- Strong foundation in areas such as consensus protocols, formal verification, secure computation, or privacy-preserving technologies
- Curiosity-driven mindset with a track record of independent, rigorous inquiry
- Ability to translate abstract concepts into clear, actionable insights
- Experience with or strong interest in blockchain platforms and layer 2 scaling solutions
Work Environment
This is a remote-first position with team members distributed globally. Occasional travel may be expected for company-wide and team-specific gatherings. The role supports flexible scheduling within a collaborative framework.
