RemoteVA PH is looking for a Rent Collector/Bookkeeper to support property management operations. You will be central to ensuring timely rent collections and maintaining organized financial records.
What You'll Do
- Call, email, and follow up with tenants regarding rent payments
- Document payment commitments and update tenant records
- Issue late notices and coordinate with management on delinquent accounts
- Maintain accurate rent collection logs and reports
- Enter payments, invoices, and expenses into QuickBooks
- Assist with accounts receivable and accounts payable tasks
- Maintain organized financial and tenant records
- Support with work orders, scheduling, and general correspondence
- Research permits, licenses, or compliance needs when required
- Answer phone calls and provide professional tenant support
What We're Looking For
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and basic bookkeeping principles
- Strong phone etiquette, communication, and negotiation skills
- Ability to handle sensitive tenant information with confidentiality
Nice to Have
- Proven experience in rent collections, accounts receivable, or property management
- Familiarity with property management software like Rent Manager, AppFolio, or Buildium
