About the Role
This role involves delivering psychiatric care remotely to patients, conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and managing medication as needed. The psychiatrist works closely with other clinicians to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care within a scalable outpatient setting.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations via telehealth
- Diagnose and treat mental health conditions in adults and adolescents
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical needs
- Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications
- Monitor patient progress through regular follow-ups
- Collaborate with therapists and care coordinators
- Document clinical interactions in the electronic health record
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and licensing standards
- Respond to urgent clinical concerns as they arise
- Participate in team meetings and case reviews
- Support continuity of care across treatment phases
- Engage in quality improvement initiatives
- Maintain timely communication with patients and families
- Coordinate care transitions when necessary
- Uphold patient confidentiality and ethical standards
