IntellaTriage is hiring a Remote Nurse Triage RN to provide telephonic patient care and clinical advice during overnight and weekend hours. In this role, you will handle inbound calls in a fast-paced environment, assess patient needs, and deliver guidance following established client protocols.
What You'll Do
- Provide direct telephonic triage and nursing advice to patients and their families.
- Handle a high volume of inbound calls, with a minimum of 5+ calls per hour on weekdays and higher volumes on weekends.
- Complete thorough and timely documentation during and after calls using multiple applications.
- Adhere to specific client protocols while communicating with empathy.
- Remain clocked in after calls end to complete any remaining charting.
- Participate in required in-services and additional training as needed.
- Maintain required continuing education units (CEUs) for relevant states.
What We're Looking For
- Must have or be willing to obtain a Compact RN license and reside/work in a Compact US state.
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a fast-paced clinical environment (ED, Critical Care, Surgical Services, Med/Surg, etc.).
- Must be tech savvy, comfortable with technology, and able to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Must have high-speed internet (fiberoptic or coaxial cable only) and a dedicated, quiet, HIPAA-compliant home office space.
- Must be available to work 2 out of every 3 weekends (both Saturday and Sunday) and 1 weekday per week.
- Must be able to complete a mandatory 3-week paid remote training program.
- Must be legally eligible to work in the U.S. for any employer.
- Must be fluent in English.
- Must be able to handle stress, multitask, and type proficiently.
- Must maintain an active nursing license in good standing.
- Must be able to pass a background check and nurse licensing check.
Nice to Have
- Fluency in additional languages is a bonus.
