About the Role
This role involves delivering teletherapy services to students in need of mental health support, conducting assessments, creating treatment plans, and maintaining compliance with state and district regulations.
Responsibilities
- Deliver individual and group therapy sessions remotely to students
- Conduct initial clinical assessments and ongoing progress evaluations
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and confidential electronic health records
- Collaborate with school personnel to support student needs
- Respond to mental health crises as they arise
- Follow ethical and legal standards for telehealth practice
- Participate in team meetings and professional development activities
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and FERPA regulations
- Coordinate care with external healthcare providers when necessary
- Monitor student engagement and treatment outcomes
- Use a secure digital platform for all clinical interactions
- Adhere to state licensing requirements in Mississippi
- Engage in regular supervision and case consultations
- Support suicide prevention and intervention efforts
- Provide resources and psychoeducation to families
- Maintain punctuality and reliability in session scheduling
- Uphold professional boundaries in all communications
- Contribute to continuous improvement of clinical protocols
- Respond promptly to messages and documentation requests
