This position is responsible for acquiring and expanding business within federal government accounts using a consultative sales approach. The ideal candidate will combine deep government sector knowledge with a track record of closing enterprise deals.
Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within federal agencies
- Lead full sales cycles from prospecting to contract close
- Develop trusted advisor relationships with key stakeholders in government organizations
- Deliver product demonstrations tailored to federal use cases
- Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to address procurement requirements
- Translate technical capabilities into mission-specific value propositions
- Work closely with federal systems integrators and partners
- Maintain accurate forecasts in CRM system
- Represent the company at federal trade shows and industry events
- Stay current on federal IT modernization initiatives
- Navigate complex procurement processes including RFIs and RFPs
- Coordinate technical resources for customer evaluations
- Advocate for customer needs internally
- Track engagement metrics and adjust outreach strategies
- Ensure alignment with federal security and compliance standards
