Stack Builders is looking for a Remote in Spain - Entry to Mid-level Software Developer to join our team. You will work on diverse international projects from Spain, collaborating directly with clients and contributing to both technical solutions and our community presence.
What You'll Do
- Refine your technical expertise through ongoing training covering technologies like Haskell, TypeScript, Python, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, and Kubernetes.
- Learn or reinforce knowledge about the value-add of using functional and type-safe languages.
- Sharpen soft skills through training, book clubs, conferences, and team-building events.
- Collaborate with dynamic international teams to define project roadmaps, select technologies, and integrate them.
- Carry out code reviews, pinpointing and applying best software practices.
- Offer guidance to clients, implement technical solutions, and introduce new technologies to enhance efficiency.
- Contribute to internal and external community initiatives to boost brand awareness in Spain.
- Help onboard and mentor new developers.
What We're Looking For
- Permanently located in Spain or have a relocation date set, and legally authorized to work there by the start date.
- 2+ years of software development experience in a professional environment.
- Bachelor’s degree or academic certification in Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Systems, or a similar field.
- Advanced spoken and written English (B2/C1).
- Hands-on development experience with at least one of: TypeScript, JavaScript, Python, GraphQL, Node.js, or PHP.
- Experience using Agile Methodologies and CI/CD techniques such as TDD.
- Knowledge about how to create well-structured code in any object-oriented programming language.
- Ownership, strong analytical and communication skills, and a drive to exceed expectations.
