EX Squared is looking for a Remote Data Engineer to create robust data solutions that power analytics and business intelligence. You will work as part of a distributed team, building the foundational platforms that enable data-driven insights.
What You'll Do
- Design, build, and maintain scalable, reliable data pipelines and ETL processes
- Develop and optimize data models and warehouse architecture for performance and accessibility
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other engineers to understand data requirements
- Implement data governance, quality, and security best practices
- Monitor and troubleshoot data systems to ensure high availability and performance
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience designing and deploying production data pipelines
- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with modern data warehouse solutions
- Expertise in at least one programming language commonly used for data engineering (e.g., Python, Scala, Java)
- Experience with cloud data platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and related services
- Ability to work effectively in a fully remote, asynchronous, and global team environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and a focus on delivering clean, maintainable data infrastructure
