EX Squared is seeking a Remote Clinical Research Director to provide strategic leadership and oversight of our clinical research initiatives. You will be responsible for ensuring the scientific integrity, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence of our clinical trial programs.
What You'll Do
- Provide strategic direction and leadership for all clinical research activities
- Oversee the design, implementation, and execution of clinical trials
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, ICH-GCP)
- Manage clinical research budgets, timelines, and resource allocation
- Analyze and interpret clinical data, authoring study reports and publications
- Lead and mentor a team of clinical research professionals
What We're Looking For
- 8+ years of progressive experience in clinical research, including 3+ years in a senior leadership role
- Advanced degree (MD, PhD, or PharmD) in a relevant scientific discipline
- Demonstrated expertise in the end-to-end management of global clinical trials
- In-depth knowledge of FDA, EMA, and ICH regulatory guidelines (GCP)
- Proven ability to lead, develop, and mentor high-performing teams
- Excellent strategic planning, problem-solving, and communication skills
Nice to Have
- Experience in a specific therapeutic area relevant to our portfolio
- Prior work in a biotech or pharmaceutical startup environment
- Strong track record of authoring and publishing clinical research
