Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital is looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) to join its Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU). In this full-time day shift position, you will provide specialized care for patients with cardiac conditions, stroke, and post-procedural neuro cases stepping down from ICU. You’ll be part of a team dedicated to our mission of improving health every day.

What You'll Do

Perform competent nursing care following the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
Provide health promotion, teaching, and coordination of care for patients.
Adhere to standards of professional performance, including ethical practice, communication, collaboration, and evidence-based care.

What We're Looking For

A degree or diploma from an accredited Registered Nursing program.
Current students in the process of completing an accredited nursing program or obtaining a Registered Nursing License.
BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
Acute Care/IMCU ACLS certification within 1 year of hire.
NIH certification within 1 year of hire.

Nice to Have

A BSN or MSN degree.
Acute care nursing experience.
Background in Stroke or Telemetry care.
