Responsibilities
- Design, construct, and deploy technology solutions that improve business operations using existing service offerings
- Uphold infrastructure-related policies and technical standards across the organization
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, vendors, engineers, and support teams to roll out site-based infrastructure, apply standards, and transfer knowledge for ongoing support
- Serve as an expert in system configuration, integration, capacity management, and performance tuning
- Monitor and manage wide area network file and print servers for performance, usage, and capacity planning
- Architect and implement network components, storage systems, virtualization platforms, and physical server hardware
- Plan, design, and remotely deploy standardized infrastructure solutions across site locations in the Americas
- Develop and maintain technical documentation such as diagrams, detailed designs, and operational runbooks
- Evaluate and contribute to the evolution of IT design principles, architecture, standards, and implementation methods
- Apply defined infrastructure standards for networking, including Cisco routers, switches, and wireless systems
- Apply defined infrastructure standards for structured cabling systems
- Apply defined infrastructure standards for server technologies, including virtual machines, DHCP, ILO, storage, and file sharing
- Apply defined infrastructure standards for VOIP telephony systems
- Coordinate with vendors across various technical domains to support solution delivery
