About the Role
The engineer will support the deployment, configuration, and ongoing management of Red Hat OpenShift clusters, focusing on automation, monitoring, and integration with CI/CD pipelines.
Responsibilities
- Design and deploy OpenShift clusters across multiple environments
- Maintain cluster availability, performance, and security
- Implement infrastructure automation using configuration management tools
- Collaborate with development teams on containerized application deployment
- Troubleshoot issues in container orchestration and networking layers
- Ensure compliance with security policies and operational standards
- Support hybrid and multi-cloud OpenShift deployments
- Monitor system health and optimize resource utilization
- Integrate OpenShift with identity and access management systems
- Manage upgrades and lifecycle operations for container platforms
- Develop and maintain documentation for platform configurations
- Participate in incident response and on-call rotations
- Enhance CI/CD pipelines for container-based workflows
- Apply security patches and system updates promptly
- Work with storage and networking teams to resolve integration challenges
- Support application migration to containerized environments
- Enforce resource quotas and access controls in OpenShift projects
- Utilize logging and monitoring tools for proactive issue detection
- Contribute to disaster recovery planning for container platforms
- Stay current with OpenShift and Kubernetes ecosystem developments
