ABB is looking for an R&D Associate Engineer to join our team developing software for System Drives. You will contribute by designing, implementing, and testing software solutions, modules, and functions.
What You'll Do
- Develop embedded software for System Drives products
- Develop the test and simulation framework
- Perform code maintenance and documentation
- Keep project-related data up to date
What We're Looking For
- Higher degree in automatics, computer science, electrical engineering, mechatronics, or a similar field
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in commercial C/C++ embedded software development
- Proficiency in C and C++ embedded programming
- Interest in power electronics
- Knowledge of version control systems, preferably Git
- Good written and spoken English
- Intermediate skills in Python programming
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Nice to Have
- Basic knowledge in the field of data science and machine learning
