At EssenceMediacom, we're looking for a Quality Engineer to ensure the integrity of our quality systems and processes. You will be responsible for supporting GPS Quality Requirements, monitoring global metric performance, and managing key quality projects on behalf of our client, General Motors.
What You'll Do
- Support GPS Quality Requirements and monitor consistency to Global Metric Performance.
- Actively participate in Plant Quality Meetings.
- Manage RED X / OpEx projects as requested from the Quality Manager.
- Coach, teach, and audit elements of the GM Quality Manual and GMS BIQ Principle and Elements.
- Present clear problem definitions, provide technical mentorship on complex problems, and deliver regular updates on progress.
- Maintain updates to Quality Requirements and manage deviations from plants.
- Maintain Cost of Quality reports by Plant.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Metallurgical, or Mechatronic Engineering or a similar field.
- Required experience in a similar position: from 1 to 3 years.
- Available to change shifts (4x3).
- English Level: Advanced.
- Key Skills: problem solving, customer focus, people management (lead teams), and analytical thinking.
- Managerial courage to provide direct, honest, constructive feedback.
- Proficiency and knowledge of the GM Quality System / GMS BIQ, Quality Launch Plan, and Global Quality Manual.
Nice to Have
- REDX and OPEX Methodology.
- Green Belt/Black Belt certification.
- Previous experience with machining processes (Gears).
Team & Environment
You will report directly to the Quality Manager.

This position requires onsite work.
