Medline Industries, LP is looking for a Quality Control Inspector I to ensure the quality and safety of products at our Waukegan site. In this onsite role, you’ll conduct inspections on materials and finished goods, document findings, and report any defects to maintain our high standards.
What You'll Do
- Perform inspections on incoming materials, in-process items, and finished products.
- Document inspection results and maintain accurate records.
- Use measurement tools and equipment to verify product dimensions and specifications.
- Identify and report defects, deviations, and non-conformities.
- Collaborate with production or distribution teams to address quality issues.
- Assist in developing and implementing quality control procedures.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assess inbound damaged finished goods and repackage them.
- Support tasks like inventory checks, recall verifications, product rework, and pedigree verification.
- May operate powered material handling equipment.
- Read and interpret instructions, blueprints, and other documents.
- Comply with SOPs, Quality Systems, OSHA guidelines, and company regulations.
Team & Environment
You will work closely with production or distribution teams to resolve quality concerns and determine product disposition.
