Cigna Healthcare is hiring a QA & Testing Senior Analyst to ensure the performance, scalability, and reliability of our applications. You will design, develop, and analyze performance tests in a collaborative, quality-focused environment.
What You'll Do
- Design and implement performance testing strategies using NeoLoad.
- Develop and maintain test scripts, plans, and data to support comprehensive performance testing.
- Execute performance, load, stress, and endurance tests across various applications and platforms.
- Analyze test results to identify performance bottlenecks and root causes.
- Collaborate with development, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to tune systems for optimal performance.
- Provide detailed performance test reports with metrics, analysis, and actionable recommendations.
- Participate in performance testing efforts throughout the SDLC and within CI/CD pipelines.
- Mentor junior testers and help establish best practices for performance engineering.
- Continuously evaluate and recommend new tools and methodologies to enhance testing efficiency.
What We're Looking For
- 5–8 years of experience in performance testing and engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with NeoLoad, including script development, execution, and analysis.
- Experience analyzing system performance across web, API, and backend services.
- Solid understanding of HTTP, web protocols, and system architecture.
- Familiarity with APM tools like Dynatrace, AppDynamics, New Relic, or Elastic for monitoring and diagnostics.
- Proficiency in analyzing server logs, system metrics, and database performance.
- Experience with performance testing in CI/CD environments and integration with tools like Jenkins or Azure DevOps.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration abilities.
Nice to Have
- NeoLoad certification is a plus.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Groovy, or Shell is an advantage.
- Prior experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
