We are seeking a QA Automation Engineer with proven expertise in software test automation. This position offers a hybrid work model located in Quito, Ecuador. Responsibilities: - Create, develop, and implement automated tests to validate system functionalities - Work closely with development and product teams to comprehend requirements and acceptance criteria - Precisely document and report software defects - Contribute to testing strategy development - Perform tests across environments featuring complex data models - Craft and maintain updated test scripts - Verify data quality and functionality in SQL and NoSQL database systems - Leverage test automation tools including Cypress, Karate, Serenity, K6, and others - Support continuous improvement of testing processes Requirements: - Minimum 2 years verified experience as QA Engineer - Software test automation background - Basic to intermediate programming capabilities - Software testing experience, preferably in data model development environments - Understanding of testing methodologies and test case design - Proficiency managing SQL and NoSQL databases - Experience with automation tools like Serenity, Karate, K6, Cypress, Protractor, TestCafe, Appium Preferred Qualifications: - ISTQB or equivalent certification - Knowledge of development best practices: Git, TDD, code reviews, CI/CD - Robotic Process Automation (RPA) tool experience - Prior agile environment work Benefits: At Devsu, we aim to create an environment where you can thrive personally and professionally.
