CultureAI is looking for a QA Automation Engineer to join our Engineering team based in Manila, Philippines. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining an automated test environment from the ground up, with a focus on both browser-based UI and API testing.
What You'll Do
- Use open source and commercial frameworks & libraries to build out our automated testing system and suite of automated tests.
- Work on both browser-based UI testing and API testing.
- Collaborate with our manual QA engineer to prioritise which tests need automation.
- Partner with engineers to build efficient processes for reporting issues discovered by automated tests and ensuring effective follow-up.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience building an automated test environment from the ground up.
- Strong experience with Cypress and/or Playwright.
- Proficiency with BrowserStack for web testing.
- Strong understanding of both browser-based UI testing and API testing.
- High level of JavaScript engineering skill.
- Previous experience collaborating closely with Software Engineers.
- Must be comfortable working with some overlap with UK business hours (GMT/BST).
- Must be legally eligible to work in the Philippines.
- Must hold a valid Philippine passport for identity verification and compliance with Remote.com.
- Must be fluent in English (written and spoken).
- Must have a reliable internet connection and a workspace that supports effective remote work.
- Must be comfortable working with a primarily UK-based engineering team across time zones.
