The QA Automation Engineer will focus on API and integration testing, including automating physical device setup, and contribute to product quality assurance. This role involves designing and maintaining virtual and physical test environments, executing diverse testing methods, and developing AI-powered solutions for internal and customer-facing systems. The position operates within a hybrid work model requiring proximity to Kraków.
Responsibilities
- Lead testing efforts focused on APIs and system integrations, including automation of physical device configuration
- Ensure high standards of product quality throughout the development lifecycle
- Build and manage both virtual and physical test environments
- Conduct a wide range of testing types, including manual and automated, functional and non-functional, as well as black-box and white-box approaches
- Design, test, and deploy AI-driven solutions to enhance internal workflows and product capabilities
Requirements
- Minimum of three years of professional experience in QA automation
- At least two years of hands-on experience with Python programming
- Demonstrated precision and attention to detail in technical tasks
- Proven ability to collaborate in team settings and work independently
- Practical experience working with Linux and Bash scripting
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins
- Experience using AI tools including Claude, Codex, or similar platforms
- Full professional fluency in English
Nice to Have
- Background in system or network administration
- Experience with IT automation tools such as Docker and Ansible
- Familiarity with Selenium, Spring, Gradle, AWS, and Java technologies
- Hands-on experience in performance and load testing
- Knowledge of networking concepts including Internet, WiFi, VLAN, Firewall, and VPN
- Commitment to writing clean, maintainable code
