Varicent is looking for a Python & TypeScript Developer to build and evolve the backend of our AI-powered ELT platform. You will join a remote-first, async-first team focused on shipping product and scaling innovative solutions for customers worldwide.
What You'll Do
- Build and evolve our backend using Python and TypeScript (Node.js).
- Design and scale REST APIs for high-performance data operations.
- Use AWS tools like Lambda, S3, Redshift, and DynamoDB to power our platform.
- Help shape our infrastructure using Terraform and the Serverless Framework.
- Collaborate across product, design, and QA to deliver features.
- Own and lead features from development through deployment.
What We're Looking For
- At least 4 years of experience with a backend language (e.g., Python, Java, C).
- Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms.
- Knowledge of REST APIs.
- Cares about performance, code clarity, and reducing complexity.
- Strong English communication skills.
