ISTA Personnel Solutions South Africa is hiring a Python Developer (Data Analytics) to turn complex data into clear, actionable insights that drive business decisions. In this role, you will be a key member of a rapidly expanding team, collaborating cross-functionally to understand objectives and deliver impactful analysis.
What You'll Do
- Analyze large, complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business objectives and data needs.
- Write modular, efficient, and scalable Python code for data manipulation and transformation.
- Automate repetitive data processing tasks using Python scripts to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Create and maintain dashboards and reports using tools such as Power BI.
- Present data findings in a clear and compelling manner to stakeholders at various levels.
What We're Looking For
- Proficiency in Python and libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, Seaborn, and Scikit-learn.
- Strong SQL skills for querying and managing relational databases.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Plotly).
- At least 2 years of experience in Data Analytics using Python.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Self-driven, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
- Able to work from home – anywhere in the Philippines.
Nice to Have
- Experience with the Azure cloud platform.
- Exposure to machine learning predictive modelling.
- Exposure to SQL and database management using Python (e.g., SQLAlchemy, MongoDB).
