Vodafone is looking for a Public Sector Specialist Sales Lead with expertise in Fixed Networking & Unified Communications (UC). In this pivotal role, you will help public sector customers modernise their infrastructure, strengthen security, and enhance collaboration. You’ll act as a trusted advisor, supporting account teams to qualify opportunities, shape solutions, and accelerate deal cycles.
What You'll Do
- Develop and execute plans to hit and exceed annual order value targets.
- Own complex and/or large-scale opportunities with sales from qualify through to close.
- Own the sales process from a solution and value proposition perspective.
- Build key internal stakeholder relationships and engage their support in delivering Sales objectives.
- Forecast and report on sales performance effectively, accurately and on time.
- Upskill account teams on product portfolio to identify opportunities.
- Work with Product and Propositions managers to influence future product development.
- Stay up to date with industry and product trends to be an expert in selling your product line.
What We're Looking For
- Demonstrable experience in public sector technology sales.
- Expertise in at least one of the following: Networking, SD WAN, Unified Communications (UC), Digital transformation, or Contact Centre.
- Understanding of the specific demands of public-sector environments including governance, security, data sovereignty, and budgetary cycles.
- Strong commercial mindset with a track record of winning strategic deals.
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts in clear, outcome-focused language.
