About the Role
Provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for patients with mental health conditions using evidence-based practices in a fully remote setting.
Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric assessments and diagnostic evaluations
- Develop individualized treatment plans for patients
- Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment as needed
- Document clinical encounters in electronic health records
- Collaborate with care coordinators and support staff
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
- Maintain patient confidentiality and ethical standards
- Participate in ongoing quality improvement initiatives
- Respond to patient messages within established timeframes
- Provide psychoeducation to patients and families
- Coordinate care with external providers when necessary
- Conduct follow-up visits regularly
- Adhere to clinical protocols and best practices
- Support crisis intervention when required
