Responsibilities
- Review incoming property damage claims for completeness and accuracy
- Conduct investigations to determine cause and extent of loss

- Inspect damaged properties to assess repair or replacement needs
- Estimate financial impact of claims using industry-standard tools
- Determine coverage applicability based on policy terms

- Negotiate settlements with claimants or their representatives

- Communicate claim status updates to policyholders
- Coordinate with contractors and experts when necessary
- Identify potential fraud indicators and escalate as needed
- Maintain accurate records of all claim-related activities
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding claim progress
- Resolve claims within delegated authority limits
- Refer complex cases to senior adjusters when required
- Follow up on open claims to ensure timely closure
- Support team goals through collaboration and knowledge sharing
- Attend training sessions to stay current on policies and practices
- Adhere to service level agreements for claim processing
