Join Beutler Saghari & Partner GmbH as a Project Planner in Berlin. In this hybrid role, you will lead project planning efforts, drive Earned Value Management (EVM) reporting, and serve as the company's internal subject matter expert for planning tools.
What You'll Do
- Calculate reporting parameters for Earned Value Management based on production inputs.
- Create project reports for SPI and CPI, including progress curves and staffing forecasts, and maintain ETC and EAC forecast information.
- Act as the first point of contact and subject matter expert within the company for MS Project and Primavera.
- Work directly with project managers and team members to identify and solve problems in planning and scheduling.
- Monitor, control, consolidate, and provide feedback on project plans developed across the company.
- Support the project management team in preparing project reporting, including planning updates, progress reports, and change management.
- Review and ensure communication of project-related information for timely goal implementation.
- Monitor project progress, identifying critical activities and comparing forecasts with actual results.
- Regularly inform management about problems and project status versus plan.
- Support project managers in customer discussions as needed.
- Define, create, and maintain guidelines, procedures, tools, and best practices for planning and EVM monitoring.
- Define and create monthly KPIs and reports according to project requirements.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Natural Sciences, or Business Administration.
- Extensive knowledge of MS Project and Primavera P6.
- Native German speaker with fluent English skills.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in project controlling, primarily in project and schedule planning with Primavera/MS Project.
- Knowledge and experience with Earned Value Management systems are essential.
- Experience in defining and creating planning reports and dashboards.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills focused on detail.
- Effective communication skills.
- Proven track record of successfully executing multidisciplinary projects in a technical offshore engineering environment.
Nice to Have
- Understanding of risk identification and quantification (Monte Carlo/Primavera Risk) is advantageous.
- 3 years of experience in construction management is advantageous.
