About the Role

Aecon Group Inc., a leader in the Canadian Foundations industry, is hiring a Project Manager for its Foundations division. This role is responsible for the operational and financial performance of designated Foundations projects and will be based out of our head office in Calgary or Sherwood Park, Alberta.

What You'll Do

  • Oversee project safety performance through inspections and audits, supporting safety investigations and corrective actions.
  • Manage the quality, material, and subcontractor management processes for assigned projects.
  • Drive the financial performance of designated projects to ensure business plan targets are met.
  • Report on financial performance, workload status, legal issues, and opportunities to the Operations Manager.
  • Resolve project-level legal disputes and escalate issues as required.
  • Build and lead a project management team with clearly defined responsibilities.
  • Prepare employee development and succession plans for key departmental positions.
  • Approve expenditures and proposal pricing within your authority.
  • Maintain personal contact with major clients and unions.
  • Ensure all project activity aligns with corporate and divisional strategic plans, business plans, policies, and procedures.
  • Collaborate effectively with the Superintendent to support all crewing and project needs.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as required.

Work Mode

This is an onsite position located in Calgary, Alberta or Sherwood Park, Alberta.
