Johnson Controls Inc. is looking for a Project Engineer to execute site projects for Integrated Building Management Systems (IBMS), Building Management Systems (BMS), CCTV/IP Surveillance, and Fire Detection/Alarm & Suppression systems. You will be responsible for the full project lifecycle from initial survey and planning through to final commissioning, documentation, and handover, ensuring seamless integration and compliance with all standards.

What You'll Do

Conduct site surveys, review drawings, finalize layouts, and prepare BOQ/SOW.
Plan and supervise installation, cabling, device mounting, panel terminations, and system integration.
Coordinate with vendors, OEMs, civil/MEP teams, security, and client stakeholders for smooth execution.
Install, configure, and commission IBMS/BMS controllers, DDCs, and field devices, integrating with HVAC, AHU, VAV, lighting, and energy meters via BACnet/Modbus.
Deploy CCTV IP cameras, NVR/VMS, storage, network switches, and video walls; configure analytics and user roles.
Install and commission Fire Alarm Systems (FAS), panels, detectors, and suppression systems with appropriate interlocks.
Integrate subsystems into IBMS/PSIM; configure protocols (BACnet, Modbus, ONVIF), IP schemes, VLANs, and device hardening.
Validate cause-and-effect matrices and perform I/O checks, SAT/FAT, and end-to-end scenario testing.
Ensure compliance with NBC 2016, IS/IEC norms, NFPA standards, and OEM specifications.
Maintain site safety, conduct toolbox talks, and ensure PPE and permit protocols are followed.
Maintain daily progress reports, red-line/as-built drawings, test reports, configuration backups, asset registers, and O&M manuals.
Train end-users and support handover with snag closure; provide stabilization and warranty support.
Track material consumption, raise MRNs/GRNs, support vendor billing, manage change requests, and control project timelines.

What We're Looking For

3–6 years of hands-on experience executing IBMS, BMS, CCTV, and Fire Systems projects.
Technical hands-on experience with BMS/IBMS platforms (e.g., Honeywell, Schneider, Siemens, Johnson Controls, Delta, Trane).
Technical hands-on experience with CCTV systems: IP cameras, VMS (e.g., Milestone, Genetec, Hikvision, Dahua), storage, and networking.
Technical hands-on experience with Fire Systems: addressable/conventional panels (e.g., Honeywell, Notifier, Siemens, Edwards), detectors, modules, sounders; basic exposure to suppression systems.
Networking basics: L2/L3 switches, PoE, IP addressing, ONVIF, VLANs.
Strong coordination, vendor management, reporting, and client communication skills.
Diploma, B.E., or B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or a related field.
