Graham is hiring a Project Controls Coordinator for its Industrial Division in a site-based role. Reporting to the Project Controls Manager, you will provide frontline support by tracking project costs, ensuring accurate cost coding, and supporting weekly and monthly cost reporting and forecasting.
What You'll Do
- Support Project Cost Tracking and Reporting: Assist in tracking project costs related to labour, equipment, materials, and subcontractors, and support the preparation of weekly and monthly cost reports.
- Maintain Accurate Cost Data and Coding: Ensure project costs are correctly coded and allocated by collecting, organizing, validating, and reviewing cost data from multiple sources.
- Assist with Forecasting and Budget Updates: Support the updating of forecasts, cost projections, and basic budget adjustments as project scope, progress, and conditions change.
- Analyze and Support Cost Variance Explanations: Work with project teams to gather information, review data for discrepancies, and help explain cost variances and key changes in project performance.
- Collaborate with Project Controls and Project Teams: Work closely with project controls, accounting, schedulers, and project managers to ensure cost reporting is accurate, consistent, and aligned with project progress.
What We're Looking For
- Post-secondary degree in Engineering or Construction Management
- 1–3 years of experience in project controls, cost control, or a project-based construction/industrial environment
- Strong Excel skills with experience handling large datasets
- Familiarity with SAP and concepts behind Earned Value Management (EVM)
- High attention to detail
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Professionalism when working with financial data

- Experience with Power Query, Power BI, or InEight (Control & Plan)
