Trane Technologies is looking for a Program Director to plan, develop, and oversee visual communication materials for MD Anderson Cancer Center. You will lead design support for a wide range of audiences and projects, with a strong focus on maintaining the organization's visual brand across publications, digital media, and scientific imagery. This role reports to the Director of Creative Communications.
What You'll Do
- Plan and develop visual design solutions for a wide variety of organizational initiatives, communications, and audiences.
- Produce publications, reports, brochures, event materials, posters, infographics, multimedia presentations, and web/social media projects.
- Ensure all work adheres strictly to organizational brand standards.
- Work with professional printers to manage pre-press and production processes; attend press checks as needed.
- Coordinate photo shoots.
- Present design work to customers, including senior leaders, for review and feedback.
- Track the success of work products, projects, and initiatives, identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Provide art direction and oversight for visual design projects, Institutional Affairs initiatives, animations, and scientific/medical imagery.
- Serve as a knowledgeable brand steward, ensuring all projects align with MD Anderson’s brand look, feel, and policies.
- Provide education, information, and support to internal and external customers regarding design inquiries and service requests.
- Attend key customer meetings and be available for consultation as needed.
- Offer visual design direction to colleagues and collaborators.
- Direct the work of senior communication designers, external service providers, vendors, and contracted personnel.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
- Five years of project/program management experience.
- Must pass a pre-employment skills test as required and administered by Human Resources.
Nice to Have
- Associate’s degree or higher.
- At least seven years of graphic design experience, preferably within the healthcare sector.
- Experience supporting large brands or organizations.
- Candidates residing within the state of Texas may be preferred.
- Master's Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.

- Compensation: US Dollar (USD) 92,500 - US Dollar (USD) 138,500.
