Council on Foreign Relations is hiring a Program Coordinator, U.S. Foreign Policy

Responsibilities

  • Support a key research effort examining the trajectory of U.S. strategic policy.
  • Help leadership with research, drafting, editing, and preparation of written outputs such as articles, policy briefs, op-eds, congressional testimony, and newsletters.
  • Manage daily administrative and logistical operations for the research initiative, including coordination of study groups, publications, and internal collaboration.
  • Organize events by arranging travel, sending invitations, communicating with speakers and moderators, and preparing background documents.
  • Work with internal colleagues to edit, format, write, and promote a collection of essays on the future of American foreign policy.
  • Oversee grant management in partnership with relevant teams, including proposal and report drafting, budget tracking, and monitoring of deliverables.
  • Offer cross-departmental support to other researchers and staff as needed.
