The Professional Services Specialist will work remotely across Egypt, focusing on on-site installation, configuration, and training for Foodics' restaurant management software. This role requires frequent travel to remote cities and involves direct customer interaction to ensure successful product adoption and issue resolution.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the initial product know-how and training (including on-site cashier and console training at customer locations)
- Travel to remote cities across Egypt to perform on-site installation and training for customers
- Responsible for training, Install, configure and troubleshoot POS hardware, printers and networking devices requests
- Ensure the branch is fully operational before go-live
- Responsible for receiving calls on our unified number
- Check and monitor the tasks and projects assigned and deliver the services based on the SLAs
- Close completed projects after completion
- Share the customer’s feedback with the Direct Manager on features and/or installation enhancements
- Responsible for self-continuous Foodics knowledge, reviewing and testing updates as early as possible to be able to deliver the service based on the new features added
- Coordinate with Sales, Onboarding, and Support teams to ensure smooth project delivery
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Networking, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science or related field
- Must be based in Alexandria
- At least 1-2 years of experience, preferably with Information Technology / Software and/or Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) products companies
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Must have strong and excellent communication skills both written and oral
- Fluency in English and Arabic is a must
- Self-starter with ability to work independently across functional groups and on multiple initiatives simultaneously
- Must be flexible to work in a fast-paced and evolving environment
- Willingness to travel frequently across Egypt and ability to work independently in remote locations
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in POS installation or field technical support and basic understanding of networking (routers, LAN, printers, IP configuration) is a plus
