Propelis is looking for a Senior Production Artist to develop accurate, high-quality artwork for basic to intermediate production assignments. In this role, you will incorporate branding guidelines into artwork layout per client specifications, ensuring deliverables meet rigorous quality standards.
What You'll Do
- Attend necessary client meetings such as pre-production sessions.
- Ensure high quality standards in all production client deliverables.
- Complete accurate, consistent, and timely artwork at a basic to complex level, using industry-standard software, tools, and print techniques.
- Perform assigned tasks within the overall Production workflow and assigned budget, according to work order specifications, company procedures, and client brand guidelines.
- Maintain project plan information in the tracking system to keep the client team informed on project status.
- Meet quality standards consistently and recommend improvements to reports, tools, and processes to Management.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Arts, Marketing, Advertising, or a related field.
- 6+ years progressive print manufacturing experience in pre-press, graphic arts, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficient skills with Apple Mac equipment and operating systems, Adobe Design Suite, Acrobat, QuarkXpress, and Agile.
- High proficiency in MS Office Suite, Outlook, and Internet applications.
- Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, and project management skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including analysis, interpretation, and reasoning.
- Solid understanding and application of mathematical concepts.
- Ability to develop collaborative relationships with peers, colleagues, and internal/external clients.
- Ability to work autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
- Ability to work with and influence peers and senior management.
- Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines, and reporting.
- Ability to work overtime as necessary.
