Johnson Controls Inc. is hiring a Product Technical Support Engineer to provide expert technical support to our Field Sales & Service organization and key Data Center Accounts on a global scale. This role can be remote for the right person, supporting our mission to reimagine building performance.
What You'll Do
- Provide day-to-day technical support to the Field Sales & Service organization and Data Center Accounts globally via site visits, phone, and email.
- Drive product reliability through the Continuous Improvement Process for both existing products and new product introductions.
- Create test plans to prove out new and existing product equipment offerings.
- Maintain effectiveness when experiencing changes in work responsibilities or environment.
- Create novel solutions with measurable value for existing and potential customers.
- Place a high priority on the customer’s perspective when making decisions and acting.
- Ensure others contribute to organization strategies and drive operational discipline.
- Identify and understand problems and opportunities by gathering, analyzing, and interpreting quantitative and qualitative information.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related Technical/Scientific field and 2+ years of experience.
- If no degree, 6+ years of technical experience with knowledge of HVAC&R products.
- Ability to analyze and solve complex product system problems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite Applications (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint) as well as Internet software and E-mail.
- Proficient in troubleshooting the refrigeration cycle as applied to air-conditioning duty on Applied Equipment.
- Ability to travel up to 10% domestically and internationally.

The position is based out of our New Freedom, PA location, but can be performed remotely. You'll join an encouraging and collaborative team environment with a strong dedication to safety through our Zero Harm policy.
Benefits & Compensation
- Competitive salary of $80,000 - $110,000

This is a remote position, with the option to be based near our New Freedom, PA location.
