VectorVMS is seeking a Product Manager - Vendor Management Solutions to own the product roadmap and drive market growth during a full platform transformation. In this high-impact role, you will turn client feedback into features, prioritize the backlog, and align distributed teams to execute on a vision that serves both existing clients and expands our market footprint.
What You'll Do
- Talk to clients and analyze data to uncover needs, then translate those insights into clear product requirements.
- Own, prioritize, and groom the product backlog so the development team always knows what’s next.
- Run sprints across time zones to keep local and offshore teams aligned.
- Plan releases that move the needle by aligning key modernization work with necessary fixes.
- Make tough prioritization calls, balancing the needs of existing clients with initiatives to grow market footprint.
- Protect project scope to ensure key features ship on time while maintaining quality.
- Act as the translator between engineering, clients, and leadership to keep all parties on the same page.
- Stay curious about the market, maintaining a pulse on competitors and identifying opportunities to differentiate and grow.
- Partner with product marketing to turn releases into compelling stories for clients and prospects.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in product management.
- Ideally, experience in B2B enterprise software, VMS, or the contingent workforce space.
- A track record of making hard prioritization calls and preventing scope creep.
- A strong methodology for collecting and distilling client and market requirements into specifications.
- A product-forward mindset that champions user needs and weighs complexity trade-offs.
- Experience working with and keeping distributed teams aligned.
- Sharp time management skills to consistently hit deadlines.
- Adaptable communication skills to relay information effectively to all types of stakeholders.
- Confident engagement skills with clients and external partners to build trust, gather insights, and champion VectorVMS.
Nice to Have
- Deep familiarity with Jira or a similar project management tool.
- Experience with platform modernization beyond UI updates.
- SQL skills to pull and analyze your own product usage data.
- Experience with Clarity Analytics.
- A background in VMS, staffing, or the contingent workforce industry.
- Experience with agile development methodologies.
