At PostHog, we're hiring a Product Engineer to build new products from the ground up. You'll operate like a founder inside the company, taking products from zero to one and owning every aspect from ideation and user research to pricing and long-term success.
What You'll Do
- Own products and features end-to-end: originate ideas, talk to users, test MVPs, iterate on feedback, and own pricing.
- Collaborate with design to polish the experience after shipping the basic UX.
- Implement AI features by working with the Max AI team to integrate AI into your products.
- Talk to users frequently, bounce ideas off them, and iterate with them on new features.
- Serve as the designated Support hero for your team each week, investigating and resolving customer issues.
- Write documentation for the new features you build.
What We're Looking For
- Full-stack experience with relevant technologies – e.g., Python or similar, React or similar.
- Proven experience taking a project from 0 to 1, such as leading a project, being a founder, or building an impressive side project.
- Strong writing skills for documentation and communication.
Nice to Have
- Experience working at a high-growth SaaS company.
- Extensive knowledge of Django and/or TypeScript-based React.
- Experience building AI-native products or integrating AI into existing software.
