Lever is hiring a Product Engineer

Responsibilities

• Help build out core product by developing high-impact, user-facing features
• Develop and ship new features and updates to Lever’s product
• Learn about real-time web stack UI frameworks
• Work collaboratively with product managers and designers to drive implementation and release of major features
• Be a champion of best practices for writing well-tested, well-organized code
• Become familiar with all parts of the stack, including open source web framework DerbyJS
• Exercise judgment in making tradeoffs between design and feasibility
• Engineer features to be scalable and resilient in a complex, single-page application
• Be an active voice in shaping the product

Requirements

• Complete Ramp Camp, Lever’s company-wide onboarding program
• Meet other new Leveroos in your cohort, and learn the nuts and bolts of the business, history, and future direction
• Complete your Starter Project to build bridges with other Leveroos and contribute to team processes and knowledge
• Tackle your first ticket
• Dive into Lever’s technology by pair-programming with teammates and attending peer-led engineering training sessions

• Must be comfortable navigating most of the stack and infrastructure
