Groupe Rocher is hiring a Product Development professional within its Operational Direction, focusing on the Petit Bateau Fabricant and Grandes et Moyennes Surfaces (GMS) collection entities. You will be responsible for the end-to-end development of textile products from style sketch reception to industrialization, serving both the Petit Bateau brand and white-label clients, upholding our values of childhood and commitment to development in France and internationally.
What You'll Do
- Create technical files, writing component nomenclatures in line with style sketches in French and English.
- Assist in calculating purchase prices and industrial cost prices.
- Listen to stylistic and technical ideas to propose solutions that meet expectations while respecting cost, price, and quality constraints.
- Collaborate with pattern makers to finalize Finished Products.
- Provide responses aligned with all brand prerequisites and different services interacting with development.
- Assist in launching and receiving prototypes made by suppliers and prototype workshops.
- Apply quality and regulatory specifications.
- For Petit Bateau Fabricant clients: Guarantee the piloting of the study phase during the tender process.
- For Petit Bateau Fabricant clients: Guarantee the integration of a new client in 360 (kick-off, capsule request, planning, etc.) during the development phase.
- For Petit Bateau Fabricant clients: Create and transfer all article data (component nomenclatures and operational ranges) into IT systems (PLM/SAP).
- For Petit Bateau Fabricant clients: Ensure key milestone reviews with completeness of checklist points and verify final business case coherence.
- For Petit Bateau Fabricant clients: Monitor compliance at each stage to guarantee schedule and client quality level during production.
- For Petit Bateau Fabricant clients: Maintain a global view of the client project and exercise project management authority.
What We're Looking For
- A Bac +2 level education in Textile.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar function.
- Sensitivity to materials and textiles in general.
- Excellent command of office tools, particularly Excel and Illustrator.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills for both internal and external exchanges.
- An organized and dynamic work style.
- A proactive mindset focused on continuous improvement.

- Experience working with a PLM tool.
