Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors is hiring a Product Designer to create intuitive, intelligent digital experiences at the intersection of AI and finance. This remote role focuses on designing complex UX/UI solutions for conversational and data-driven interfaces.
What You'll Do
- Design thoughtful user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity UIs for intelligent financial interfaces across web, mobile, and chat platforms.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and AI researchers to deliver experiences that balance automation and user control.
- Create interfaces that are transparent, explainable, and trustworthy, especially in AI-driven contexts.
- Support and apply insights from usability testing and user research to iterate and refine designs.
- Contribute to and evolve the internal design system to meet the needs of agent-based AI interactions.
- Adapt designs based on data, behavioral insights, and feedback to ensure optimal user experience.
What We're Looking For
- 2–4 years of experience in UX/UI design.
- A portfolio demonstrating user-centered design, clean UI execution, and a strong grasp of interaction design principles.
- Proficiency in modern design tools like Figma (preferred), Sketch, Adobe XD, or equivalents.
- Understanding of human-computer interaction (HCI), with curiosity about human-AI interfaces.
- Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
- Willingness to learn, iterate quickly, and grow in a dynamic AI-first product environment.
Nice to Have
- Experience designing for fintech or banking platforms.
- Familiarity with agent-based UX, chat interfaces, or AI explainability design patterns.
- Understanding of accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) and regulatory frameworks (e.g., ADA, GDPR).
